The UK Travel Traffic Light system will change from 4 October 2021. There will no longer be an Amber list, rather one single list of countries approved for travel and one list for red countries.

UK Government announced changes to the UK Travel Travel Traffic Light system effective 30 August 2021 at 4am. Canada, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein and the Azores join the Green List. Thailand and Montenegro move to the Red List. Find out more here.

From the 19th July 2021 all fully vaccinated travellers will be exempt from quarantine when returning from an Amber List Country. As of June 21st, 2021 Greece is accepting the the more convenient and cost effective Rapid Antigen Test as part of its entry requirements for all travellers. The authorities have also made all children under the age of 12 exempt from the COVID-19 requirements.
