All travel restrictions for vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers coming to the UK have been dropped from 4am on Friday 18th March 2022. The UK government has announced all travel restrictions for vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers coming to the UK will be dropped from 4am on Friday 18th March 2022.
From 4am on 11th February 2022, fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to take a Day 2 Rapid Antigen test after arriving in the United Kingdom.
As of 15th of December 2021 at 4am there are no countries on the Red List.
All travellers aged 12 and over must take a Covid-19 test before returning to the United Kingdom.
The current red list includes: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
On 26 November 2021, the UK government added 6 countries from the red list. The updated red list includes: South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
From 24 October fully vaccinated passengers and most under 18s arriving in England from countries not on the red list can take a cheaper lateral flow test, on or before Day 2 of their arrival into the UK. These can be booked from 22 October 2021.
On 11 October 2021, the UK government removed 47 countries from the red list. The updated red list includes: Columbia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.
