From 4am on 22 September 2021, eight destinations will move from the red list to the amber list. These destinations are Turkey, Pakistan, The Maldives, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bangladesh and Kenya.

The UK Travel Traffic Light system will change from 4 October 2021. There will no longer be an Amber list, rather one single list of countries approved for travel and one list for red countries.

UK Government advise regarding International Cruises has changed as of 28 July 2021 with greater emphasis on travel testing and insurance. The Travel Traffic Light system is still applicable when returning from Amber and Red list countries even when remaining on board during routine stops at local destinations. Find out more here.
From the 4am on 2 August 2021, all fully vaccinated travellers from the European Union and the United States will be exempt from quarantine when arriving in the United Kingdom. As of June 21st, 2021 Greece is accepting the the more convenient and cost effective Rapid Antigen Test as part of its entry requirements for all travellers. The authorities have also made all children under the age of 12 exempt from the COVID-19 requirements.
